today was one of the sadist days of my life. i made an appointment to go to the vet and get the kittens checked out. i called a few days ago and aksed them what i could do about the fleas because they were so bad.

i'd bathed them and been picking them off but it wasnt enough. i'd called the vet when i noticed something strange with their noses. they were all white. and when i checked their gums i noticed that they also were all white. as were their tounges and the pads of their feet. everything that should have been pink was white because they had lost so much blood.

today when i got off work before i went to take them to the vet i was in the process of putting them in the box when i noticed that one of them was dead. as i went through gathering the rest of them i found that a second one was dead. i sperated the two dead ones from the live ones and put them in a small box to be buried after i got back.

well i went to the vet to have them checked out and they told me that there wasnt anything to do for the kittens. they had to put them down because they were to far gone.

i was devastated but i told them id rather the kittens be put to sleep then left to suffer a slow death. so now all five of the kittens have passed on and me and the momma will just mourn their passing together.
